Flow Classes

We offer a variety of Flow classes. What does this mean? It is simply the term used when poses flow from one to the other, usually linked to your breath. The length of time between and holding poses varies class to class. These classes are fun and dynamic they can be as challenging as you make them as there is always a modification that can be offered.

Body Wheel Therapy

The Body Wheel Therapy® class is designed to increase the flexibility of the spine and to strengthen the surrounding muscles, achieved through yoga inspired movements with the aid of a wheel.  The spine supports our entire body structure and allows for a good flow of vital energy and nutrients.  The class promotes openness in the shoulders, chest, hips, back and neck, which are the most common areas of tightness and discomfort in the body.  It also strengthens your core, therefore improving postural alignment and overall health of your spine. We are perhaps the only studio offering Body Wheel classes in Scotland currently.

yin yoga Auchterarder

Yin

Yin yoga is a great class to calm down, stop and nurture your body, working on stored emotional tension through passive stretching. This is a slow paced and passive style of yoga practice where most postures are practiced on the floor in a static way for an extended period. When combined with internal awareness and introspection, the practice of yin can also become a highly meditative tool to cultivate inner stillness.

Postures are held for 1-5 minutes mostly targeted to the lower body, in areas especially rich in connective tissue. Yin yoga does not seek maximum ranges of motion, and rather than trying to stretch our muscles, it seeks to stress the connective tissues (fascia, tendons, and ligaments) and joints. Through this, it can strengthen the connective tissues in and around a joint to make the joint more resilient. why it’s unique.
